This bait features a unique snail shell shape: a conical design with a wide base that gradually tapers toward the top. Grooves along the sides give the bait the look and feel of a real snail shell.

Compared to pop-ups, a wafter has low buoyancy, remaining stable for a long period of time. This allows it to be used as a standalone bait.
For a neutral presentation, where the bait is balanced and the hook rests on the bottom, we recommend using bait screws.
For presentations with the hook lying flat on the bottom or balanced on the hook point when fishing with a classic hair rig, size 8 or 6 hooks are recommended.
